Services We Offer

Our Services include, but are not limited to; Soil Analysis, Water Analysis, Fertilizer Analysis, Plant Tissue Analysis, Organic Manure Analysis and Lime Analysis. As far as field work is concerned, we offer extension services to farmers as well as ensuring that they apply The Right Nutrient Source at the Right Time at The Right Place using The Right Rate of Application. At the same time, they are encouraged to conduct Integrated Soil Fertility Management among other Good Agronomic Practices.

Soil Analysis

Soil Analysis encompasses testing for Primary Macro Elements namely Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium, Secondary Macro Elements namely Calcium and Magnesium, Trace Elements namely Manganese, Copper, Zinc and Iron and more importantly Organic Carbon and Soil pH as well as potentially hazardous elements like Sodium

Fertilizer and Lime Analysis

Fertilizer Analysis encompasses testing for Urea Nitrogen, Ammoniacal Nitrogen, Total Nitrogen, Total Phosphorus, Potash Content, minor elements and moisture content. Lime Analysis encompasses testing for Calcium and Magnesium so as to know the right rate required to neutralize acidity in your farm.

Water and Plant Tissue Analysis

Water Analysis encompasses testing for Chlorides, Hardness, Total Alkalinity, pH, Total Dissolved Solids, Electrical Conductivity and other trace elements. Plant Tissue Analysis encompasses testing for Nitrogen, Potassium and Potassium so as to monitor and evaluate the crop's Agronomic Use Efficiency (A.U.E.) in relation to the fertilizer applied.

Our Milestones

Having meaningful engagements during Kenya Fertilizer Training Workshop held at Jacaranda Hotels in Nairobi from 27th to 28th April 2017, Kenya Fertilizer Round Table (KeFERT) held at KICC from 16th to 17th October 2018 and Africa Soil Information Service (AfSIS) Project Meeting held at ICRAF Nairobi from 29th to 30th October 2018.
Collection of soil samples in counties with huge agricultural potential like Kajiado, Nakuru, Kakamega, Nyandarua, Meru, Trans-Nzoia, Uasin Gishu, Narok among others as part of a company program that aimed at increasing farmers’ knowledge and awareness as far as nutrient deficiencies and nutrient toxicities are concerned.
Attending Agricultural Exhibition Shows like Nakuru ASK Show and Eldoret ASK Show as well as linking up with other governmental bodies like KNCCI in other exhibition shows like NIICO Exhibition at Sawela Lodges in Naivasha in 2018.
Offering extension services to farmers and the agricultural community at large as far as Masaka District and Lira in Uganda through a Seed Fair Exhibition organized by NARO that was held in March 2022.
Having discussions with other key players in the agricultural sector namely AgroCares, DeveloPPPe and GIZ in meetings concerning a project dubbed, “Improved Soil Fertility by Enhanced Information Services in Kenya” held on 18th October 2018 at GIZ offices in Nairobi.
Discussing matters Soil Fertility and Fertilizer Usage with former governors as well as former Agriculture Cabinet Secretaries alongside other government officials in the Soil Laboratory as part of public private partnerships organized by both parties.

Our Facilities

Our facilities include state of the art laboratory instruments and apparatus to ensure that farmers get the best value for their money. Our Agricultural Extension Team is always on the ground devising new ways of improving farmers' yield by advising them to apply crop specific fertilizers as per Analysis Reports Recommendations.

It is important to subject your liming material to spectrophotometric analysis so as to know the exact rate of application needed to ameliorate soil acidity

Our laboratory is always stocked with new chemicals and fresh reagents. Our team of technicians is always available to advise on the type of analysis necessary for your samples.

Sample Pretreatment Room

It is very crucial that soil samples are well dried before grinding and sieving. Ensuring that the samples are air dried in a contamination-free Sample Reception Room is one of our top priorities

My soil was tested in January 2021 because I was recording low yields and I couldn't quite understand why. We majorly deal with Soybean Farming since there is a good market around here. We were advised that before planting, the quality of manure had to be passed through some tests. After sometime, we received results in our emails after sending over samples to Kenya via courier. The report clearly stated that the type of manure we were using did not have the require amounts of Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium due to poor storage. We went ahead and carefully preserved the next batch of manure and kept it free from leaching as per their recommendations. We recorded a harvest of an extra bag of 90kgs per acre and we were so happy to make some extra cash after seeking expert analysis from our neighbours. We are very thankful and grateful

As a professional agronomist, I did my own troubleshooting and came to a solid conclusion that what was ailing my crops is not actually nutrient deficiencies or toxicities but water used for irrigation since I had everything else sorted out including using the right fertilizer types. So I sampled the water and took it to the lab. Then came out a comprehensive report confirming my fears that the water had too much Sodium which destroys the soil aggregate stability hence making the soil prone to erosion. After following up on all the recommendations they issued, I'm glad to delightfully proclaim that my crops now look greener than ever and I haven't received any complaints from my clients abroad since all my produce is for export
